Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Entebbe Airport - Entebbe Hotel (Approx. 10 -30 mins drive)

On your arrival at Entebbe Airport, your will be met and welcomed by our representative. He will

be your tour and driver guide for the rest of the days you will be in the country. After the

interaction and brief introduction, you will be transferred to your preferred Hotel in Entebbe for

Day 2: Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park (Approx. 5-6hrs drive)

After breakfast at the hotel, your driver guide will pick you and transfer to Murchison Falls

National Park. This journey will take you through the famous Luweero Triangle and a stopover at

the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Upon arrival at the sanctuary, enjoy a 1-2-hour walk as you track the

Rhinos. This is the only place where one is able to see these in the wild. Have Lunch and later

proceed with your journey to Murchison falls National Park via Masindi town. You will have

another stop over the Top of the falls for a clear and magnificent views of the water forcing its

self through a 7-meter gorge and drops to over 43 meters below with a thunderous roar hence

forming a beautiful rainbow. Reach at your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Murchison Falls

Have a glance at a number of waters loving animals such as Hippos, Crocodiles, Buffalos and so

many bird species like the kingfishers, Cormorants, Hornbills, Goliath herons, Egyptian geese,

pelicans and bee-eaters. After the cruise, return to your Lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Full

Day 4: Depart for Kibale Forest National Park (Approx. 6-7hrs drive)

The drive from Entebbe to Kibale Forest National Park is a fascinating trip through Uganda’s

different landscapes. Along the way, you’ll see the rolling hills and big tea farms. The trip takes

about 6 hours and shows off Uganda’s beautiful scenery, ending in the thick, tropical forest of

Kibale, which is famous for its rich wildlife and lively environment.

Kibale Forest National Park is home to 13 primate species, including the common man’s closest

Cousins (Chimpanzees). The Forest is also home to over 325 bird species, including the rare

Green-breasted Pitta.

After Lunch Relax at the Lodge, you may also opt for another opportunity to enjoy the wildlife

through a 4.5Km nature walk at Bigodi wetland run by KAFRED a community-based organization,

several bird species over 200 have been identified on this trail including Turacos, Kingfishers

among other birds. Over 8 primates have been identified including the L’hoest Monkey, red

colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys, Velvet Monkeys, Blue Monkeys, Olive Baboon, black &

white colobus monkeys and the Grey Cheeked Mangabey. You have an option to either enjoy the

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Chimp tracking in Kibale Forest National Park is an exciting and memorable adventure. You start

early in the morning with a knowledgeable guide and walk into the thick rainforest, looking for

signs of chimpanzees. The trek can be tough as you go through dense plants and rough ground.

The guide will help you find the chimps, who are lively and fun to watch. When you spot them,

you can see how they eat, play, and interact up close. It’s a special chance to learn about their

lives and behavior, making the experience unforgettable for anyone who loves nature and

wildlife. Transfer back to your lodge for an early lunch and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National

Park.

En route, visit the Kasenda craters. Take a short hike to the ‘Top of the World’ viewpoint, where

you can see a lot of the small crater lakes within this region. Proceed and also visit the spectacular

Lake Nyinambuga, from which the lake shown on the 20.000 Uganda shilling note was depicted.

Continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is one of the country’s best wildlife National

parks with over 600 bird species, mammals like Lions, Leopards, elephants, buffalo, and so many

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth NP

After the game drive you will return to your lodge for Lunch, after lunch, embark on a boat cruise

along Kazinga Channel for another opportunity to encounter wildlife. The cruise typically lasts

about 2 hours and depart from the main jetty near Mweya Safari Lodge. During a boat cruise,

expect to see elephants, buffalo, waterbucks, and other animals coming to the water’s edge to

drink. The slow-paced boat cruises allow ample time for photography. You can capture close-up

shots of hippos, crocodiles basking in the sun, and birds in flight.

Day 7: Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth and Transfer to Bwindi National Park

After breakfast, leave the northern side of the park and transfer to the southern sector of Ishasha.

Spend the whole day on a game drive in search of the rare tree-climbing lions. These are famously

found in fig trees. Lunch and embark on your journey to the famous Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

National Park. The park is well known for being a habitat to the endangered species of Mountain

Gorillas. Check in at your Lodge. Overnight stay on Full Board

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Gorilla tracking offers a thrilling and unforgettable experience that commences early in the

morning. With your packed lunch depart your lodge and head to the park headquarters for a

comprehensive briefing and gorilla family allocations. Due to the physical demands of gorilla

tracking, maintaining good health and fitness is strongly recommended. Appropriate attire,

including sturdy hiking boots, long pants, and long-sleeved shirts, is essential for protection

against insects and dense vegetation encountered along the trek. We also recommend hiring

porters to assist you on the trek.

The journey into the forest typically traverses challenging terrain, ranging from dense

undergrowth to steep slopes. The duration of the trek varies considerably based on the location

of the specific gorilla group, ranging anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours.

Upon locating the gorilla group, visitors are treated to an enchanting hour observing these

majestic creatures in their natural habitat. Experienced guides ensure a safe viewing distance

while offering valuable insights into gorilla behavior and ongoing conservation efforts.

Following this extraordinary encounter, you will trek back to the starting point and head back to

the park headquarters, where you will be awarded a certificate for the Gorilla Trek. Evening

Day 9 - Bwindi-Lake Mburo

After lunch, embark on a relaxing and scenic boat cruise on Lake Mburo, one of Uganda’s most

beautiful and wildlife-rich lakes. You will have the opportunity to witness a variety of wildlife,

including pods of hippos lazily wallowing in the shallows and Nile crocodiles basking along the

shoreline, keep your eyes peeled for other animals that may come to the water’s edge to drink,

such as buffalos, antelopes. Several bird species such as the African fish eagle, pied kingfisher,

Day 10: Lake Mburo to Entebbe (Approx. 5hrs drive)

Breakfast at your lodge, check out of the lodge, and head for a game drive, you may also decide

a guided nature walk. Lake Mburo is one of the few parks where one can do a guided nature walk

and still see most of the animals as if you are on a game drive. The Park is famously known for

harboring the largest number of Zebras in Uganda. Other animals that can be seen also include

Impalas, Oribis, Giraffes, and a lot of bird species.

You will continue with your journey to Entebbe with a stopover at the equator for lunch.

Farewell dinner, Drop off at the airport for your international Flight.
